This book would be a great choice for a beginning percussionist wanting to practice playing percussion parts with a pre-recorded band (get the CD - available separately). This book would probably not be appropriate for a solo performance for a percussionist. For percussion solos that sound good alone, we recommend the "Essential Elements Christmas Favorites Keyboard Percussion" book.
